Got it home and then cleaned it and waxed. ofcourse !

like wow. I felt like a boy racer !! like ive stolen something I shouldn't have !! just better than I remember, very alive and wants to go, having to be very restrained to hold her back. Love the dynamic set up and sports shift . Very comfortable seats and suspension is great (air) The coulr is more purple in some lights but still a strong and vivid blue. Pales the M5 (my friends car) into the obscurity ! Enjoy the pops and crackes although did have to tone it down in town to more normal setting.

Steering feels alert and alive, just need to be careful as it is very responsive under power in pulling out and around slower cars and easy to over do it. Learn and practice.
Throttle response is nice and progressive on all settings apart from dynamic where I found it a much shorter and more immediate response which I like.
Brakes - being very gentle but a lovely feel to the so far, firm feedback and nice bite with what I would naturally expect when driving a fast car.
Suspension - limited miles and not gone down the dirty lanes yet (don't want it too dirty) but my worries over having air and not dynamic are fine. Air is plenty good for me and rides well. Will report more after more miles.
Looks - OMG WoW its popping ! the black wheels so make it. The dark rear windows and trim just add meanness. Will change the plate over to something better when the V5 comes in.
Filled up with petrol - its glowed - Sadly it rained but pleased it was waxed as beading off so nicely.
Inside - so comfy - will need to spend the next few nights working out the controls inside which is all part of the fun of a new car.

Yummy !
My cars evil twin brother. Looks great, congratulationsImage

Like you say, the M5 pales into insignificance beside it. Stunning! Enjoy getting to know your new car.
The MCB looks a lot better when detailed, that example certainly isn't looking it's best.

Don't get me wrong, the MCB M5 looks stunning too - I just prefer the look of the RS6. :bigblink:

Anyway - putting your pride and joy on the roof of your beautiful M5 - you definitely need an RS6!!! After cars, bikes are my biggest hobby... Just down from doing an FTP session on my turbo trainer - not sure I can make it back up the stairs! Currently 4 bikes in the stable: S-Works Tarmac, Wilier Twin Blade (TT bike), Felt Edict 3 and a Genesis CDA11 CX bike... haven't even had the chance to ride that yet as I got it a few days before shoulder surgery! Doh!

Not quite the same variety of colours available for the F10 M5, with MCB being the only Blue & i've never been one to shell out extra money for optional colours (until maybe my next car).

The M5 takes the bikes well, got Thule AeroBars on my car & the wife's Mini Countryman & they give off very little noise. Neve been one to put oily bikes inside cars & i find the bike racks stuck on the rear of cars very unsightly. That bike's now gone as was my donkey bike that lived down in Suffolk so i could get a little saddle time whilst in my office (which is only time a month). Road bike is a Giant Defy Advanced 0 & last week bought a half decent MTB, that being a Giant Trance Advanced 0. First ride on that was on Sunday & she got well broken in. Only decided to up my interest in MTB's recently as up until then for the last 2 years it was exclusively Road Riding, however the Defy Advanced 0 is currently in my Study on the Turbo trainer.

Its on the way to the Port, only just left the factory, I was still in QC yesterday. So probably making its way onto a train destined for Emden. A couple of days and I'll be all over Marine traffic website again.

Excellent - it's chasing mine across Germany and the English Channel in that case. :thumb:
I think code 30 is is has left Ingolstadt. Mine is now code 38 at Emden. Hopefully get across on the boat ASAP and it may arrive in time for a 8th/9th Feb pick up... Come on!!!

I'm doing exactly the same when mine arrives. I've actually asked the dealer to remove wrapping and then only snow foam and rinse the exterior paintwork... not to go anywhere near it with a sponge, a machine polisher or to apply any wax... i.e. leave the bloody paintwork well alone :FIREdevil: They seemed quite happy and said other customers had done exactly the same. If nothing else it saves them a job and means my detailer hopefully doesn't need to polish out any imperfections prior to applying the ceramic coatings.

What are you getting done to yours?

Look forward to seeing the pics - I'll hunt out my sunglasses to protect my eyes from the shine 8)

I'm trying to find someone to do a new car detail on mine and also give it a gtechniq coating. Would be nice if I could get it done at the dealers but looks like I'll have to take it in somewhere after I collect it.

So I have my order underway. I have the 8 digit code and post code.
It refuses to allow me to attach the car to the youraudi account.

Anyone got any pointers ?
Post code with and without spaces ?
