Kamikaze is one of the brands I'm going to try next. I've seen the results, and they are good. It's not cheap mind. You'd clean, polish and wax, no sealant.

I'm not going to risk it again as to get it off is a complete arse ache. There are now wax products which offer better finish and the same longevity all with much less risk in application.
I know what you mean - i have tried topping up a few times on previous cars and made a mess. I would only advise a professional application - then there are no worries.

I enjoy washing my motor but im not the type of guy who spends hours - short attention span so anything that makes it easier is  in my book.

What an amazing looking car, I think blue with the black pack is my absolute favourite. Which blue is that?

Sepang. Carbon looks even better IMO. Not keen on the mass of piano black on those mirrors, it swirls easily and looks less than optimal.

Naah rubbish, for the ultimate in simplicity, Colour plus black pack. It is a theme.

Carbon moves your away from that theme, much like an alu pack.

Nay, not for me. Not keen on the black plastic look anymore than I'm keen on the alu. Carbon takes it up a level and it'll still good in three years. That black plastic will be mullered.

Rubbish - there are loads of people talking about wrapping the carbon to protect it. If the black chips up, you just paint it.

whilst i love carbon, it's a thing for the max power kids.

We'll have to disagree! The max power kids cannot afford carbon! Who's talked about wrapping carbon? I've not seen anything.

mate the carbon chips, and you cannot fix it - so folks on here wrap the carbon in a clear wrap to try and save it.

It is a thing of the max power generation (certainly for me at 37) - my mrs hates it, i do love it - i think it looks great on the rs6 , but for the simplest colour schema on the rs6 it has to be black and colour, end of.

So theirs no disagree mate!! just for this look, black is simple, carbon adds in a new colour - third dimension which means that it moves you away to a different look. I.e. the carbon becomes the thing, not the colour. And in this case Sepang sings when it isn't distracted. It's a great looking car.

Everything chips. Paint it or replace it, don't see the issue!

I'm only just 38......and my Mrs hates the black plastic!

Some people like carbon, some people like black, some people like alu, some people like red some people like blue.
Either way I'm not arsed as I love it. It's a personal choice at the end of the day.

I could not justify the cost of carbon but also if your towing then you cant anyway.
