My car has just got to three years old. When getting it's service and first MOT, I was advised to get the warranty extension quote before the original one expired and then got an email from Audi saying would get discounted rate if taken out within a month of old one expiring.
I got Audi extended warranty with all component cover, with 10,000 miles limit and £250 excess for £566.71.
Same price as @feeltheburn above, which I agree is a bargain and a bit of a no brainer for me
Which Extended Warranty would you recommend?

Re: Which Extended Warranty would you recommend?
I’ve had the Audi extended warranty for the last year and it hasn’t been great. Front camera stopped working and was told not covered unless they prove the wiring isn’t at fault which would be a 2 hour diagnostic charge and not refundable.
Check engine light came on and had to wait 7 days for the dealer to look at it before replacing a lambda sensor. No courtesy car available.
My car is on 85k now and been quoted £900 to renew on 30k miles a year. Suspiciously cheap. At that price it cant be worth the paper it’s printed on in my opinion. Looking forward to running the car with no a warranty and a good indy that knows how to deal with customers and charge appropriately. I will change the oil myself and get them to do everything else. Going to put the £900 towards the bork fund and keep it for good as nothing worth changing to. If it throws me a big bill it will still be way less than the cost to change to a c8 which isn’t to my taste.

That's what I ended up doing and then buying the Audi Approved Warranty. All in, you are most likely to save a good few £K too. Like Gikseiman says, you can get an Audi warranty quote just from the reg number. So you can find out how much and to make sure its possible before you buy the car....
Good luck in your search...

My S3 finance finishes in January and I’ve been looking at possible replacements for the last year (hours spent drooling over auto trader adverts!). Since the announcement of the C8 I’ve been closely watching the prices of used C7’s fall into a very attractive price bracket. I’ve lusted after an RS6 way back when I was at Uni 15 years ago and I first saw a C5 boost off the line... a BiTurbo V8 estate car capable of hitting 0-60 in under 5 seconds!!! Personally, Audi nailed it with the C7... I just love the look of this car and that engine note is epic. I’m totally biased but I believe this will be up there with the B7 in terms of future classics.
Still undecided whether it’s worth paying extra to hunt down a PE. Definitely want an FL though.

Hi LRB23,
Yep agree with you on the C7! I had a C5 then an RS4 B7 which did hold good money....
You do get cheaper tax with the FL (15 plate on). I do like the FL, but given the right car, I would happily choose a non-FL (if they were the same price but the pre-FL had better spec and lower miles etc)... I just couldn't turn down my Riviera Blue non-FL when I saw it and still wouldn't change it now!
Good luck with your search and do keep us posted!

Re: Which Extended Warranty would you recommend?
I'm considering the Audi extended warranty but was wondering if it is more beneficial to opt for the All Component Cover or just go for the Named Component Cover???

Re: Which Extended Warranty would you recommend?
I went for all component cover as that would then cover any items that may need to be replaced when fixing the faulty item. It covers for the knock on effect that could leave you with a large bill with only named component cover

GlynRS2 how much did you pay if you don't mind my asking?
I've had my car a few weeks now and would like to make sure I'm covered given how crazy parts are for this.
