Is there an issue with the coil packs then? Don't recall any issues previously mentioned.
I'm unsure when the coils where uprated but I did read earlier models had problems with coils having issues after you map, I guess if you've got one on the edge thats the week point area you'll most likely see the misfire once the power is increased. I spoke to DMS and they seemed to this this is a week point for the C7 . But, they also did say not to bother with pump and Spark upgrade on stage one keeping it at 700bhp the current set up is more than capable, what's your thoughts Mike?

Cheers.

I know MRC, I don't know DMS from a Glory Hole in the wall with our cars personally. MRC go with uprated plugs and upgraded High-Pressure Fuel Pumps on a stage 2, I am happy with that and going with what they say. I always want to over-engineer and would much rather have things running further from their limits than OE.

Over the years, MRC have done oustanding tunes on four of our cars, including fixing an absolutely dogcrap AmD remap on our S3 when I got impatient and tried them due to MRC being too busy at the time! None of our cars have ever missed a beat after their tinkering :).
Current:

23' C8 RS6 Vorsprung - 23' RS E-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung

Gone:

"Brutus"- C5 RS6 Avant - MRC stage 2 - Milltek non-res + 100 cell cats - Wagner ICs - PSS9 - H&R ARBs - OZ Superturismo LM - C6 Custom brakes - HD RNS-E - Various other bits - 555PS/832Nm
"Taz"- C7 RS6 - MRC stage 2 745PS/1095Nm
12' Cayenne Turbo, B7 RS4, S3, Cupra R, XJR, EVO VII, STI8,5,2&WRX, 106 GTI&XSI, other crap.

Was there any ever substance to the below thread then apparently a MRC map was used , had a read though and can't see it tbh .

Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the stage 2 .

He had an MRC map but it was installed abroad and not tuned on a dyno like it would always be done at MRC in the UK. No evidence to suggest it was related other than the vibration started a week after the map. Might have been the map, might not. If you increase power and torque you have to expect that the car will be more prone to breaking bits. Damaged props and driveshafts doesn't mean its a bad map, you asked for more power you got it. When you tune it you are running it on the edge of its limits so some will break but some won't. Blowing an engine up is different though. I'd only expect that from a badly tuned car, although it must be remembered that standard engines blow up too.
