As it happens, that car was on my radar for not looking Nogaro, just confirmed from Audi, it is Sprint Blue.

So by all means, call them up and offer £50k!!

Seems pretty concrete to me. Z5F = Sprint.

I’ve told the dealer with this screenshot as well.

I knew it didn’t look like Noggy from the moment I saw it, hence investigating.

All Audi colours are available in the exclusive program. Someone obviously really wanted it.

I put a holding deposit down earlier.
The main selling point for me was the Nogaro colour, as advertised.
Nogaro Blue is surely a bigger selling aspect than sprint blue?

Well you can get your deposit back as it’s not as advertised.
If they kick up mention trading standards.
It’s a £50k car in Sprint, £53k in Noggy.

No worries. As I say they also know as of this afternoon as I emailed them so they can correct their error.

There’s really only 2 outcomes you should settle for;
1. Complete refund of your deposit and walk away
2. Renegotiate the price down to £50k and live with an inferior colour

Just wish I’d found out before you’d put a deposit on it!

I note the title of the auto trader ad has had the “Nagaro (sic) Edition” prefix removed. But it remains described as Nogaro in the main text.

Having just picked up a Noggy C7 I can confirm that the car you are looking at has metallic paint. Noggy is a flat colour.

Looks great in Sprint though!

Spoke to the garage and they have admitted their mistake. The colour has been changed on the website.
I’ve asked for a refund, but I still like the car ha.
They won’t drop the price as they say sprint blue is still an exclusive colour and it gas all the carbon fibre trim.
Is there reallly a £3k value difference between the colours?

If you like the car, buy it, but you yourself noted it was ~£3-4k more than similar age/mileage cars, hence starting this thread. I maintain it's worth a smidge over £50k.

Sprint is SUPER common on various models so demands no where near the same premium, whoever spec'd the car was throwing ~£3k away, they must just really love Sprint blue.

If you're going to spec exclusive paint and want to get some residual out of it, it needs to be one of the 'elite' colours like Noggy blue, Merlin purple, Imola yellow, Viper green etc. Picking what is otherwise a 'normal' pallet colour like Sprint is a waste of money (unless you personally love it and feel it's worth the premium, everyone has their own tastes!).
