Lots of A8 owners with the same problem, most seem to be OK now after whatever Audi arranged to fix it.

grabbed a 3 data sim today for the R8, all seems ok, how much data does it actually use with the map set to google earth?

Got one in my A8 & Google Maps usage every now & again along with other Online Services, doesn’t even use 100mb a month. I don’t drive the car that often or use Google Maps every journey, so constant use would maybe eat 400mb of Data a month.

It looks nice and is a bit of a gimmick but after a few sessions it becomes pointless. I've already started sticking to normal maps.

The traffic colour system on the roads don't work either.
