I have MPSS on both S5 and S8 and rate them for road use, except on concrete road surfaces when they are VERY noisy! Unfortunately we live near the SW corner of the M25 and use it fairly frequently.
I don't like Contis as they've always worn out quickly for me on any car.
The newer Pirellis are supposed to be very good (the old ones were lethal in the wet) but I've not used them. Chap on A5OC who tracks his S5 rates them over the MPSS for track work.
Michelin have just announced the Pilot Sport 4S to replace the MPSS - due January, if you don't need them till then.
