When I bought the c6 from Harrogate Audi it had 2 years warranty and next two services free, one of which I have already had dove at Oxford Audi. This was part of a promotion, but presume it can be added anytime if they do please?

Not so sure. I'd imagine it would have to be an Audi promo. I can't see how they'd do it across dealer groups. As for the warranty, you can only ask.

Yes it was a promo, I think they do it November every year on approved used.

So is the standard exhaust valved?

Yes and it sounds good when you open it up. I would have chosen sports without hearing the two but I'm really pleased with the stock non sports sound. Sure, it's not super loud but it does still bring big grins. I have decatted v-twins for hell raising anyway.

Its all subjective. I think the sports exhaust is too quiet so would happily get a non sports exhaust car and change it for an aftermarket.

That's good to know, so if I end up with non sports exhaust I can see how I find it. To be honest I still have the standard exhaust on the c6, I do 12000 miles a year, so don't want anything to over the top.

Can you guys confirm if the following are all standard;

Heated front seats.
DAB radio.
Boot open from remote.
Memory driver seat.

Only option there might have been memory seats, can't recall pre FL and don't have the brochure to hand. Rest is standard.

Yeah, agreed. I'll probably get bored of the stock in a few months and get something aftermarket.

With VCDS you can get it to close the boot from the remote too, and from the button on the drivers door.

Did we conclude that remote close was standard or part of advanced key?

From factory remote close is part of advanced key. But it can be activated for non advanced key cars using VCDS. My car didn't have advanced key and could only be closed from the tailgate button until I made some cahnges with VCDS, I can close via tailgate button, remote or door button.

What do you need to reprogram it? Can Audi tell that the on board systems have been altered?

You need the VCDS cable and their software. The software is free once you buy one of their genuine cables. Or find someone near you with a cable.

There is no issue with making the changes and warranties. Some dealers will even make the changes for a fee.
Alternatively, you can do it using an app on your phone and a bluetooth OBD adapter however when I tried this it said my adapter was not compatible and go e no clues as to which one does work but someone on here has used it successfully before (can't remember who though).
