:biggrin3: Hahah - I know what you mean!

Enjoy the 911 when it arrives - I had a 997 C4S for a while and loved it. Can't squeeze my 16 year old son or 13 year old daughter into the back, together with 2 dogs and various bikes so the RS6 is the perfect car for me at present. :beerchug:

As a petrolhead, it's an itch that must be scratched!

Definitely a good time to get it whilst your daughter is 4 - it will be nice and snug in the back! My kids loved it at the time, although I think they'd be more impressed with the Wi-Fi connection in the RS6 these days

My 997C4S had some pretty poor paint when I first got it and I just happened to win a competition for some vehicle graphics at an awards dinner. The guy who owned the company used to do the livery for Colin McCrae's rally cars and was delighted I didn't want my company logo on a transit, I ended up getting this done (not to everyone tastes I'll bet, but it made me grin)...

I eventually got the paintwork sorted and sold it on a couple of years later.

Which model have you gone for?

Hi

It pays to strike up the relationship so that they know you are a serious buyer. I have offered a 2-3 day loan of an equivalent car now the deposit is paid from my local dealer.

I have tried several cars and had all over night. S7 and SQ5 from bexley Audi but I wanted to drive the S8 as I currently have an A8. Got a weekend drive from vindis Cambridge Audi in an S8 so went back Monday with it and ordered the S8 plus which is due in June. Yesterday got an email from them saying they have just taken delivery of their S8 plus demonstrator and would I like to have it. It was registered today and Needless to say I will be collecting it tomorrow for a weekend trial even though they have an order. Very pleased. If anyone requires it I can give them an email for their performance and executive sales lady. I can't see an hours drive is enough time to evaluate much at all.
previous: RS2, RS4 2.7, RS4 4.2.
Current: S8 PLUS

I had an rs7 for 4 days, and am waiting for an rs6 for the same kind of period. I've also asked for an rs3 for a day (said I didn't want longer).

It's down to dealer relationship for sure.

I can just have whatever I want for as long as I want (ish!!!!) I suppose I have done the time now, and am settled, I get a deal that is strong enough, and will keep coming back.

Audi City (Martin roberts) suits me well, and I can have the weekend loan on pretty much what I want
