I had a few hours in an air car last week and was impressed with the ride, but for me the steering was a big let down. I am trying to find a DRC demo but there don't seem to be too many about the midlands, though I'm in no rush as I won't be in a position to order for a few months. Anyone tried the dynamic steering on here, someone on PH suggested it simply adds weight but no feel, which I can believe knowing Audi. Overall the car is a good, if flawed, package. Fantastic engine and drivetrain, great looks and interior, comfortable and well equipped, but lacking a bit of sparkle when compared to E63 or M5 (for me).

Finally drove a car with the dynamic pack today and wasn't blown away, steering was heavier but no great feel, the ride in comfort was fine but dynamic is ridiculous and overall I'm not sure that it benefits the car in everyday driving. I am really on the fence with the RS6, it has some great features but seems to lack soul, I can imagine eating autobahns but on a normal road the driving experience is a little detached. I am going to sleep on it, but won't be placing an order just yet.

That said, the dealer was pretty good, no arm twisting and generally very helpful.
