I love this thread

Yes you must be right. I will immediately drop £10k off the asking price. After all thats why a dealer offered me £62.5k yesterday....

So you've now been offered £500 more than you were in July?? I'd keep the car, it's going up in price!

No that was another one and that sounded like a genuine dangerous fault with that car. Really don't want to go over all the details again as it was all done to death at the time and there's a very lengthy thread on the matter-if you want to read it go for it but basically a non-story.chunky79 wrote:Interesting post.stevo55 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 03, 2017 9:46 pm'History of the purchase and the vehicle itself'......do tell. Is this the car that had the random emergency stop issue?
There's still some confusion on this thread it seems! At the risk of going round in circles:don0301 wrote:£10k+ loss in 3/4 months Ouch!
Hope you learn from it
Is it because the car was a previous lemon that it's not selling? Or you just holding out for too much?
Aha ok I thought you meant the car had depreciated £10k! I don't count monthly payments as we all have to do that on finance (those that have to I know there are the lucky few who own their cars outright or are mad/flush enough to be a cash buyer for a big car).don0301 wrote:How many payments of £1100 have you made? 4? £4400
You paid £70500 for it, You've been offered £62500? £8000
£4400 + £8000 = £12400 (pretty sure that's £10k+)
Yup, Real maths and Man maths don't often match
