I don't think I posted any photos of mine lowered and spaced properly on this thread:

Image

This was with 40mm springs all round, 15mm spacers on the rear and no spacers on the front. I fitted the 12mm but there was nearly no clearance at all.

Looking good Mike

I think you should raise the front maybe 20mm....and fit 12mm spacers?

I have thought about this. You can buy the front (or rear) H&R springs as a pair so I don't even need to buy a complete set of 20mm spacers. Having said that, the price of 2 is a lot more than half the price of 4.

Let's see the photo of yours to help me decide!

Thanks Faisal. The front of the car looks so different now, even from back then (a month ago!). And I've got another change to make but waiting on the final part.

Excuse the curvy front but for some reason I find the lens on phone cameras really bend the front of the car, makes the bumper look almost U shaped.

Mike, you want to be me so bad that it's getting embarrasing...

Just a note to say i got a fine through for lack of plate (it was propped up on the windscreen) - £100. I may have another one to come yet.

Within the same week i got a speeding fine through the post and blew up my Mustang's engine at Spa. Expensive few days!

Ha good one Rob, when did you buy the car again? :biggrin3:

But I am putting the plate back on, pushing my luck I know.
3 points for speeding will lower your insurance so a bonus.
Bad news about the mustang though.
