Unleaded or Super Unleaded

( proper shorts ) that is.
Re: Unleaded or Super Unleaded
1970's style of course:

Re: Unleaded or Super Unleaded
Brilliant. That's such a strong look, just drink it in - knee-highs, dress shoes, yellow beige yellow combo and a cuttingly thin belt.
Wow, just wow...
No matter where you go, there you are.

If your Husqvarna mower has a FSI or any other type common rail with additional ECU to account for different fuel qualities, then yes.birdiemachine wrote:Serious question, if I put super unleaded in my husqvarna ride on will I cut the lawn quicker?
Someone I just spoke to (did I mention We're Schizofrenic?) just said that if someone on the internet thinks that there is no difference in experience between 91, 95, 98 or more then they probably never drove any car of worth and their comments or "inside information" is therefore redundant.

Hello from Sweden/Philippines. My IKEA geschwindigkeitwagen! (766 hp / 571 kW / 1051 Nm), MRC'd, 22" forged, 'ramix, Milltek, ILR carbon bits, MTM adjustable springs.
Re: Unleaded or Super Unleaded
Shut up, the both of you have no idea what the other one is saying. On a serious note, what if your other personality was Danish, would you hate him/her? Would he/she most likely be an alcoholic?Ungjaevel wrote:Someone I just spoke to (did I mention We're Schizofrenic?) just said that if someone on the internet thinks that there is no difference in experience between 91, 95, 98 or more then they probably never drove any car of worth and their comments or "inside information" is therefore redundant.

Re: Unleaded or Super Unleaded
I was lucky enough to escape up to the north west of Scotland over the last few days, and even luckier to be behind the wheel of my RS6. The car was at ease on all of the roads and surfaces we threw her on to; from cruising on the dual carriage ways; flat and fast cornering on the twisty A roads; composed and well mannered on the single track roads with even a bit of very moderate off roading into the bargain. [Air suspension makes this a truly flexible machine!]
Back on topic...fuel became a potential issue- the only petrol station we found sold just 2 types of fuel, Diesel or Petrol. The petrol did smell like petrol but as for the RON well that was anyone's guess, not a BS/EN label in sight! Having read this thread and fearing the worst I hesitantly put about 30 litres in figuring even if it was 92RON that the remaining half tank of 99RON would bring me out somewhere around 95RON.
I got back in and with some apprehension pushed the start button and to my surprise she started first time! I began to wonder about all the debate there had been in this thread and what it was all really about? After a few miles easing her into the poisonous cocktail, I put my foot down and again to my surprise the power was there, no hesitation and as brutal as ever! After a few more miles we stopped to check that all was still ok. She was looking fab as was the scenery- there was no frothing around the fuel flap and the 4 wheels were still firmly attached. We drove a little further and I got out to check that the engine hadn't suddenly started leaking oil or something given the heinous act I had performed by not putting in Super Unleaded. Again she looked as good and was as tight as ever. After clocking up some 150 miles or so post toxic cocktail, we decided to do a final check as surely we should have broken something by now? We checked for signs of poor combustion fearing her rear would be covered in black soot like something out of a Dick Dastardly cartoon, but again she was in good shape and burning cleanly! So I'd say that she'll run on pretty much any petrol you can find, and unless you are at the track, I doubt if anyone could really tell the difference in moderately spirited driving on real roads!
That said I did fill up with Super Unleaded on the way back home as soon as I found a garage that sold it! :big blink:
Forgot to add a picture in "off road" mode - lots more ground clearance and much softer suspension- the bit to get to this carpark was a little less pebbly and more rocky...honest!

Re: Unleaded or Super Unleaded
Prices seem to be dropping quicker on the RS7....lots of low mileage examples about too.
Deffo a car that doesn't photo well....look much better in flesh.
But I'm used to that driving a a fat arsed porker!!!...

Lol Chris... the porker is Fugly IMO but all to their own...RS6chris! wrote:Prices seem to be dropping quicker on the RS7....lots of low mileage examples about too.

In regards to the RS7, I too disliked them in photos but after a few days of ownership courtesy of Audi and having it sat on the drive has turned my opinion around. It is IMO a beautiful car from all angles ( I know many dislike the rear end ) and the road presence IMO betters the C7 RS6.
They are coming down in price BUT one MUST buy one with ceramic brakes, black optics and in Nardo grey lol

Too much power is barely enough.
Re: Unleaded or Super Unleaded
You've been sniffing too much petrol.
If the porker is fugly then the seven is exponentially more fugly.
