Has anyone had any experience in refilling or having their air suspension serviced and adding Nitrogen?
Have been advised the slow operation of the level changes could be related to the low nitrogen level?
Or they are just slow?
RS6 Air Suspension---Refill/NItrogen Recharge?
Re: RS6 Air Suspension---Refill/NItrogen Recharge?
The air suspension system incorporates a pump and an air reservoir. The pump keeps the reservoir topped up with pressurised air that is then sent to the suspension struts via a set of valves each time the struts need more air. Whenever the struts need to lower the car, they expel air from the strut to the atmosphere; when the struts need to raise the car, they get air from the reservoir. The system is continuously pumping in air from the atmosphere at one and and expelling it back out to the atmosphere at the other end. As it is not a closed system, you could never fill it with nitrogen.
