C7 RS6--Air Suspension CTS Turbo Lowering Links

Post by Bruisernz » Sun Feb 20, 2022 8:51 pm

I have just fitted the CTS Turbo lowering links, and lowered the car approx 35mm lower than the Dynamic factory mode.

Sitting on 21" factory wheels and 285/30/21 tyres, so the tyre is just inside the rear fender and just above the tyre on front fender.

Ride quality def a lot firmer, but still rides bumps well.

Question is, has anyone had trouble/issues with their air suspension running it this low? short term or long term?

I’m interested to learn more about these. I know you can lower the car via VCDS, but why would these be worth doing over a software change? Sorry if it’s a daft question,

The software option only gives a 15mm drop from what I understand, the Links can allow up to 50-55mm drop.

And if you get fully adjustable versions, you can tune the height you want.
