Winter Tyres

Post by Scotty C » Thu Sep 24, 2020 5:30 pm

Afternoon All,

I have 4 x (almost new) TS 860s 285/30 21 Continental Winter Contact tyres with only 2000 motorway miles of use and still over 7.5mm of tread depth on each tyre. Purchased in November 2019, they are wrapped for clean transportation and are soon to be listed on Ebay in the next week or two for £1100. If anyone is interested then let me know and I can offer a discount on this price. I have sold the RS and no longer need these as they do not fit the new car.

They are one of the best and safest winter tyres on the market and come highly recommended over the Dunlop Winter Sports which I previously had.

Thanks

I'd had two and after four years of ownership decided the technology was getting on a bit and I needed to move on. Plus I had the 'braking in the wet' issue to do with Wet Brake Fade Compensation which Audi UK were uninterested in resolving. Aside from the faulty braking system, which was apparently a 'characteristic' of the vehicle, it was a great car and served me well. Am not overly keen on the interior of the new model either so decided, after 15 years, to go to the dark side which, to be fair, has not disappointed
