Does anyone know the part # for the rear discs on a RS6 Performance?
I'm based in Australia and bought two discs from Crewe Audi via eBay. When they arrived they didn't fit my car (2016 performance) even though the ad said that they would fit. When I raised this as an issue with Crewe Audi via eBay they simply suggested returning the discs for a refund. Only issue with this is that it cost me over 100 quid in postage to Australia and would then need to spend similar to return the discs.
I subsequently took the discs to an Audi dealer in Sydney who tells me that they are actually for a RS7. I'd have thought that the discs would fit either an RS6 or RS7, but I'm no mechanic.
The part # I've been sent is 4G0615601E which sound like they are correct but they won't fit my car.
I'm trying not to bleat on about Crewe Audi but currently have a couple of discs that are less than worthless.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: RS6 Performance Rear Disc part #
I believe thats the right part number, but not sure about the E on the end, catalogue shows;
4G0615601
Same part for performance and non performance.
Can you check with your local Audi dealer what they have as the part number?

Re: RS6 Performance Rear Disc part #
Morning,
Yep, I was quoted the same part number for my non PE car with the E...
A4G0 615 601 E
It sounds like they have sent you the wrong part, or the discs they have sent you were in the wrong box??
Cheers,
Lig.

Re: RS6 Performance Rear Disc part #
The disc should have the part number stamped on it.
And RS6 and 7 brakes are the same.
If they have the right number stamped on them I'd be going back to whoever tried to fit them and said they don't fit as I suspect that is where your problem lies.

Re: RS6 Performance Rear Disc part #
I remember someone was selling some rear discs on eBay which had been fitted and didn't fit, they said the same but they had an RS7 and said the discs were for an RS6, I can't see why they would be different though.
Re: RS6 Performance Rear Disc part #
Yes, the following numbers were printed on the discs
SHW 4G0615601E 25/18 ADRQ03
SHW 4G8615601E 38/17 ADRQ04
Looks to me that they might have sent two different discs, although they do look the same?

Re: RS6 Performance Rear Disc part #
The part number is just the first bit.
4G0615601E
The next bit on the discs are the manufacturing dates:
25/18 = 25th week of 2018
38/17 = 38th week of 2017
The last bit is probably just production run data.

Re: RS6 Performance Rear Disc part #
Morning,
So it looks like they are the correct part?
Maybe you need to go back to your fitter and find out exactly why they don't fit ???
Could it be something simple like you have spacers on, so they look different???
OR take them into you local Audi dealer as they usually keep these in stock and you could compare - or at least ask them to check?!
