Cleaning...

Post by DaveBee » Sat Mar 30, 2019 11:08 pm

Just wondering what people do about this, if they care of course.

Sorry if I use the wrong terms but I'll try to describe it. I want to clean the panel at the rear of the front wings, where the front door hinges are etc. I really can't fathom out how to get in there with anything other than a brush and even that can't get everywhere or remove all the water droplet marks etc.

Contemplating taking the doors off, but hope that won't be required :)

Thanks,
David

Thanks, spongy brushes ordered. :)

Doors look none adjustable (not like the old days)... Of course I might be wrong, but if they're not then a couple of bolts and they should be off. Align paint/marks when replacing and bobs yer uncle. Not drinking, but I can highly recommend living life to the full knowing for sure that everyday you can laugh is a gift - it's the ultimate high. :)

You can easily pop the doors off without having any issues with realignment later on. The are fully adjustable but the way they come off means they will be back in exactly the same place as before.
Suggest you try and clean the areas without taking them off as although they are aluminium they still weigh a fair bit with all the parts fitted to them.
