Sunroof
Re: Sunroof
Im in the non Pan club as it just wasnt something I thought necessary on a car such as these . TBH I think calling it a pan roof is stretching it a bit, 'sunroof' fits the bill better. If it was glass A past B pillar then you could call it a pan roof...

Not you boys . From late March till sept your all goosed now . Should have thought about all this before not ticking the option box, non pan should be called "the tight wing" the same culprits hang around sainsburys waiting for the poor women with the discount gun :-0
Hang on or are they all in Aldi !?

Does look good Mike. Wouldn't buy it though. Has no pan roof.

Re: Sunroof
Fair enough Iain, but maybe you don't use the accelerator pedal much either and only drive your car at 30mph - doesn't mean the rest of us don't enjoy thrashing the bollox off ours.

I agree the pan roof doesn't look particularly pretty when open, compared to cars where it slides inside the roof space, but in my survey of 1, I actually open the roof a lot. Especially when my son farts in the back!

Not even if I stick a bit of plastic on the roof to make it look like a pan roof? Meany.zappy-chops wrote: βWed Mar 06, 2019 9:20 pmDoes look good Mike. Wouldn't buy it though. Has no pan roof.![]()
Re: Sunroof
Way back in the mists of time when you got one up on your colleagues with a GL badge or Vinyl roof a sunroof was something to be desired....
But then cars came with air conditioning, and more recently climate control, as standard.
I can honestly say that in 17 years of Audi ownership I only opened the sunroof when buying, to check that it worked.
On my current one I didn't even do that, just checked it wasn't leaking, I have never ever operated it in the 6+ years I've had it.
My other car (a Volvo) has a big fixed panoramic tinted glass roof which is quite nice and makes the cabin feel bigger. It's usually "open" in the sense that the powered roller blind that can cover it is stowed away. But I do not miss being able to open it for airflow.

Re: Sunroof
Nah, as unlike those folks who love to tell us that they never open the pan roof their car came with, I actually open mine a lot.

Oh dear. Sorry to hear that. Buy a Honda Jazz. Pretty sure they only do 28mph. Never been stuck behind one going any faster at least.
