I bought from https://www.milltekexhaust-roadrunnermotorsport.co.uk/
Cheapest place I found and they were great (eg phoned me up in person to warn me of a delivery delay because Milltek changed their build schedule).

I'll probably start with just the valve control module for now. Quieter cold starts would please the neighbours at 6am!

Best sound stock Downpipes and none resonated Miltek, (rumble Like Amg or even better) beats Akrapovic in all terms

Custom downpipes with stock cat back actually sounds better. I've heard them side by side.

Do you know who has this set up? if relatively local I would meet up to listen as I can get a near new Sport Exhaust for not alot - but it would be a shame to get rid of the milltek for a standard item. Decisions decisions!

I appreciate this may be controversial due to the cost but I think the Akrapovic Exhaust sounds awesome. Starting the car never gets old and I think adds character that was missing initially.

Only heard the Milltek via YouTube which does sound good. Certainly very loud and quite raspy sounding. However, the Akrapovic has a certain quality to it which doesn't come across in videos. The sound is something else when on it. Below 3K revs it's totally unobtrusive inside the car but still sounds loud enough outside to ensure the V8 sounds are enhanced over the sports exhaust.

It is expensive for what it is but it looks and feels like a quality item which is what you would want for a circa £100K car.
I had an Akra on my E92 M3 so I know about the quality of the sound, build and weight saving was immense.

Is that what you have on yours? where are you based - would love to hear it. I couldn't justify the spend on a new one so would need to wait for a 2nd hand one to come up unfortunately.
Yes I have the Akrapovic on mine. I'm based in the midlands. Happy to meet up at some point so you can hear it. interested to hear what your's sounds like as well...
Would be good to meet up with you and other RS6 owners at some point - not sure what meets/shows people are planning to go to in the near future.

He lives in Cornwall but has now changed the cat back anyway. I have a video somewhere of the different cars although it sounded much different in the flesh.

Which Exhaust Guide?

Got one stage over Mike’s recommendation which is APR Downpipes plus OEM sports exhaust with resonators and centre muffler removed.

Quiet as OEM normal in Comfort until you apply half throttle and then there is some bark, sounds great in dynamic. Done on stage 1 APR tune with j spacers for the O2 sensors

Will changing the exhaust not void any warranty?

Most common thought is that a cat back exhaust should not affect warranty. Truth is, it depends on what your local dealer thinks. Some say its fine, others say it will void the warranty. Depends what sort of people they are and how well you get on with them.

Yes I'd run it past them first if you are concerned.

Having driven a few miles on smooth country roads in Dynamic, the exhaust certainly sounds aggressive and loud with a tonne of pops and crackles. I think I would prefer to just replicate that if i’m honest but for daily driving. Exhaust doesn’t sound so aggressive in individual mode with dynamic setting as it does when in dynamic mode itself
