I’m sure you could find aftermarket flow-formed or even forged wheels for less than the OEM replacements. The OEM’s will just bend again.

Ispiri do some reasonably priced flow-formed wheels.

The TSW Bathurst is a very well priced forged wheel <£500/rim. TSW do some other forged designs too

Went to check out a very slight vibration today... found out I had all 4 wheels buckled - 3 quite badly!

Booked it in to Lepsons to see if they can straighten them for £80+VAT a wheel... has anyone got experience of them or if having buckled wheels straightened?

Very nice!

I’ll see your Vossens, and raise you a set of custom forged rims!

I’ve enquired about 20’s - £3.2k for the monoblock designs, or £4k for 2-piece

I’ve had a buckled and cracked rim welded and straightened in the past - didn’t have any issues afterwards.

That wasn’t done at Lepsons, but I’ve had a couple of refurb jobs done there and they are very good.

Dreaded buckled wheels.
Owned my car for less then a month, when picking up the car (drove from Leicester to London) I felt a vibration in he steering wheel at highways speeds. I thought it would be your typical wheels balancing or alignment, and raised this to the dealer the next day. I had an appointment already at my
Local dealer scheduled for 3 weeks later. Fast forward to his Tuesday , I was told rear
Breaks are worn and 2 or 3 wheels are
Buckled.
I am very confident that Leicester Audi will sort this issue, but as a preemptive move I called Audi UK , to address potential future problems.
Wow, the ignorance.
How common is this problem? Those of you who have had this issue, how was is dealt with? Have you raised a complaint to Audi UK?
This is my 3rd Audi and I have owned many other cars, and have never had this issue.
Maybe we should all email the director of Audi UK at the same time so his problem is acknowledged ?
Any input or ideas are
Welcome

Thankfully no issues with my alloys yet, but from having read forums it may just be a matter of time till something happens..

Just found one of my 21” wheels has a crack on the edge of the inboard rim making it’s way outboard.
Has anyone had any success in getting Audi to replace rims?
