I’d swerve directline.

Sky insurance for all 3 cars at home - you’ll need to call them for a quote

I am paying just over £350 with Sainsbury's on my 67 plate PE. Salt into wounds I guess but I have 3 points and live in Devon, 10k per year, garaged and no business miles.

Devil is in the detail, price comparison alone is not enough. You’d not expect a Hiscox policy to compare with a direct line policy, there’s a lot more too it.

NFU’s basic policy covers more than any other policy I’ve seen out of the box.

NFU wanted £1.4k, Saisburys wanted £3k!

Tesco specialist insurance wanted £1.4k as well.
Ended up going with Aviva at £850. Still a significant increase on last year for no apparent reason but the best I could do. It's probably something to do with a postcode incident & the industry increase this year.

I think the cost has gone up for everyone this year, seen a lot of similar threads.

That's the 1st one I've heard of recently. Mind you people generally don't come here to say it's gone down, we normally only hear about increases.

Reading through all these quotes had me jealous at the costs you are paying.

my insurance is £2400.
29, 10 years no claims, clean licence ( touch wood)

Next year will be interesting.

I got my renewal through for the q7 was paying £650 for the year and jumped to £1500 no address change so was moved from admiral on renewal date and got it for £680
