Anyone used AMD Tuning?

Post by daveok77 » Mon Aug 21, 2017 10:07 pm

Hi there,

I'm looking to fit a non-resonated cat back Milltek and a remap adding an extra 100-120hp. AMD Tuning in Essex are fairly local to me and are authorised installers of Millteks. I was just wondering if anyone has had their RS6 remapped with them. Any feedback at all would be appreciated.

Thanks

***EDIT*** - I though I was in the C5 section and replied based on that, didn't realise it was a C7 question

The average is figure gain for the C5 from a re-map/exhaust is between 40-70hp, so 100-120hp isn't achievable without a "lot" more work being done on the car!
Hi there,

Actually 100-120hp of a gain is relatively small for the C7. I'm not sure you can compare the C5 gains with the C6 or C7. Litchfield remap C7s to 750hp which is a 190hp gain.

Thanks for this. I did actually read these but was looking for something in reference to an RS6. I'm surprised about the post with the S3 as they actually race these specific cars.

DOH!

I genuinely thought I was still in the C5 section answering a question on the C5, not the C7 section so I'll delete my post!

Yep I used them for mine. Excellent customer service, invited me and my lad to pit lane at a touring car race to look around at their cars.

And the performance / noise is great on my car ImageImageImage

Perfect! Thanks for letting me know, that's what I'm looking for, somebody else that's had their software. May I ask when you had it done and what gains you received? I take it you've had no niggles at all?

Cheers

Given one recent thread on here - I'd be very worried about invalidating any warranty by mapping a C7!!

Also - my opinion of AMD is not good, see the thread Ian linked to.

I had the remap June 16 and had absolutely no issues with their software. After care excellent. Mines not a PE model, so now 700bhp

Thanks. That's good to hear. This is exactly what I was looking for, an RS6 owner that's had the remap etc as is happy with it. That's 2/2 so far!
