tight turn rumbling noise

Post by raywong » Tue Jul 18, 2017 12:49 pm

hi,
I just noticed some rumbling noise in the following situations:
1) making tight turns, like driving in parking lot. It makes a rumbling/drone noise that kind of felt like it is from the tires. It gets louder as I accelerate. Is it normal noise of Audi AWD?
2) driving on the highway with smooth road surface. It makes a similar rumbling/drone noise once I hit 97 km/h, it seem to get quieter above 120 km/h, possibly just masked out by the wind, the engine, and every other noise.

Any opinion please?

There is a service bulletin for front arm bushings. Mine did the same and was replaced under warranty.

The first one sounds just like normal quattro behaviour when the road is a little slippery or when tyres start to wear down.
