What?! They still make that? Can you hear us back in 2008?
Haha. There were a few users on here who had it fitted in the last 12 months, few threads with pics, recommended switch locations and installers etc
I seriously thought that model was discontinued an age ago. So it still works on newer cars?

What can they do?
Shoot the lot of them.

No written warnings, no community payback orders, no slap on the wrist, just remove that cancer from society. In a stolen car you can't reasonably prove you didn't know was stolen (even though that's still a crime)? Shot. Suspect parts on your ebay page, or in your shed/garage? Shot. No insurance? Shot. There's no way the police don't know who the majority of these gangs are, they just can't get a case to stick in court due to circumstantial evidence etc etc.

Sure does...

<beep>, so sorry to hear that.

As others have said, main point is you & your family are OK. Car can & will be replaced or paid out, harder to do that for people.

You didn't seriously just let a public forum know you have one of these on your car?!

Yep, why? There are a number of cars on here that we know have this fitted...

Edit - sorry OP for going a bit off track. Glad nobody was hurt and hope your insurance sort it out to your satisfaction.

There was an rs6 pinched from Hitchin a couple of weeks back red performance model and an rs5 from Shefford
No point having one unless it's garaged!

A garage won't even save you now, the OP was trying to put it in his garage when it was nicked.

True. It spends minutes on the drive if any time at all. Just takes one numpty to decide they want to follow you home and surprise you on the way in.

Anything else you want to declare to the public forum, like, do you happen to have a home alarm, maybe a floor safe or a panic room perhaps? While you're at, just post up your next holiday dates.

So you'd also suggest not having a home alarm on show? Hmmm... Millions up and down the country must be advised... Image
