I drove past that car last week and wondered if the wheels had been stolen or if the owner was doing work on it.

Wow, c7 parked on the street in streatham! Sympathy with the owner but that's still a rough-ish area...

Wouldn't be surprised if the car was stolen anyway and just parked there to see if the police came looking.

I'm guessing the owner must be on holiday or away from home as its still there on bricks.

But it is only on that side.
The wheels are still intact on the other side.

Maybe they got scared off or was a bit hard to jack the car up due it being next to the pavement?

Plus the owner most likely lives on the same side of the road so is more visible if looking out of the window.

Bet it was a small van with a side door - maybe an air jack - didn't even have to get out the van and obscured from view from all sides. Looks quite organised to me.

Perhaps the owner did it to stop his/her car being stolen while away on holiday😂😂

I feel for the owner. Might be time for him to go 'falling down' Douglas style
