I think it's overpriced. My 2015 sepang car was up at Bradford for 66.5. It was a better spec and lower miles. The Cambridge car is worth low 60s.
Re: Looking for some spaceship action !
Quite pricey !! I have just bought a pre FL. less miles wirh similar spec for £56.5kUnomelodica wrote:looks like ACC is a must for me.
Just some casual browsing has thrown this up

Is on point or too much coin ?

Re: Looking for some spaceship action !
Thanks both I thought it was a bit on the high side - I'm in no rush may drop them a quick call to see how much fat is built in !
And my preference is to try to get and car from one off the lovely members here as I know they it would of been well cared for. So, if anyone is looking to upgrade hola me !
That's been really helpful I'm sure more questions will ensue over next few weeks .
What a great bunch of people on this forum - Shame about some of the dealers !

Just a quick thought, if your using the beast as a motorway mile muncher, would you not be better on air suspension than DRC? Comfort mode on DRC is just about bearable on a long run but on air suspension the miles just fly by!
Also, you wouldn't have any of the issues experienced by DRC owners.

I find DRC in comfort mode fine on our crappy motorways but I guess it's worth trying each one for yourself

Yes I saw a post comparing the two anything coming from the magic carpet Lexus ride is going to take some adjusting too ,the thing just wafts around and at times it feels you have no road underneath you .
I reminisce when I had 335d on run flats on cold winter mornings that thing was a teeth muncher and could easily catch you out, boy was that a hard ride and It wasn't long before I changed out for normal rubber .

Re: Looking for some spaceship action !
I must agree with MikeFish: I've had Audi's DRC for over 8 years and like the system - it can have problems, but is AIR immune? We did a 1200 mile round trip to the north of Scotland and back over Christmas and had a supremely comfortable drive (despite years of Squash taking its toll on my lower back) and none of my passengers complained. So again, definitely try each yourself and see what suits.

If you can stretch to it go for the performance version. I have found you get a better ride and drive and oddly better fuel economy. Pano roof a must as it lightens a dark interior, sports exhaust/dynamic pack a must for resale. Panther black or daytona grey best colours with black or grey interior. HUD a must if you've had it before with the speed limit display. Think carefully about the wheels as some are more fragile than others (buckling and pitting). Full park assist (360 cameras) a must as car is big and will help in towns/parking. Anything else is a bonus but the phone box only fully works with very few mobiles - no auto charge except via cable.
The choice of dealer is vital for trouble free motoring, there are some who just want to take your money but others who will go above and beyond to keep their customers happy. Some of the smaller dealers are often better for this.
It's a lovely situation to be in, have fun and let us know what you end up with.

Re: Looking for some spaceship action !
Thankyou yes some good points,my thought process is exactly that a well optioned car will be more attractive at resell. I plan on keeping this for the foreseeable future .
I've passed the stage of constant car changing , just need something that's going to put a smile back on my face.

@harrier yes that's a journey I've made several times last year (Glasgow /Edinburgh) and agree with your points try before one buys - I have been in a rs6 as a passenger ,although only a spirited short drive i didn't really have time to assess the ride as I was giggling like a child most of the time !
That's the thing I miss ....

Have you driven a DRC car much? I have used both on all types of roads and DRC is just as comfortable on motorways as air in Comfort (or Auto for that matter) - to be honest I would be hard pushed to tell which I was in if I wasn't told.
DRC would be a must for me on the twisty stuff though - there you can tell the difference.
If ride is your main concern get 20s not 21s.

Re: Looking for some spaceship action !
Mark thanks I could live with the 21's - the suggestions seem to infer not too much difference I'll have proper test drive before I decide.

Re: Looking for some spaceship action !
I have Air and would say it is a notch softer than DRC on each setting from my test drives.
Comfort will not be like a Lexus but even with 21's on my PerfEd it is very acceptable.
It does very well to manage the mass and push on when needed.
Air/Comfort will be like sport/dynamic on Lexus.
DRC/Comfort was more towards Air/Dynamic and DRC/Dynamic does have very tight body control.
Auto setting allows for those slightly scattered drives where you get some short blasts and Dynamic allows a big car to be hustled hard.
It is large but you learn to drive around it and then you get the reassurance of the traction.
Comments on it feeling big because you arrive at any given corner too fast is a good pointer.
Make certain your phone is linked up and has a camera (sorry safety) database loaded. It gains speed like bandit.
