If you want to go DIY: Remove a wheel. Put it face down on the ground. Cut a length of wood to fit snugly across the centreline of the wheel then see how snugly it fits in other orientations (always passing over the centreline. You could easily detect a runout of anything over a millimetre. This would identify a buckled or an oval wheel rim.

All good ideas appreciated.

Im going for a 2nd opinion this afternoon at A4Audi see what they say.

Feedback from Audi UK is that i need to take it back to supplying dealer (3 hours away) so they can review. Understandable really.
I want to get a feeling and ideally see this myself before i commit to going down there. My fear is they end up saying the same thing, that it is my fault

I've been in the motor trade 42 years, most of that time supplying and fitting tyres.
I have NEVER seen 4 wheels buckled whether it be to pot holes, kerbs etc, steel or alloy! I would say the wheels
are all the Fs.......Factory fitted faults.....!! Go to Audi, create hell!!

Some years ago I had an E55 AMG. I had exactly the same experience of going for a routine service and being told that all 4 wheels were out of round. After a bit of googling it turned out that mine was not an isolated incident and there was a lot of fuss on the forums about "soft" AMG wheels. Mercedes refused to budge in all cases and insisted that the wheels were all within acceptable tolerances. Unless Audi admit or you can prove that there was a manufacturing defect I suspect that the best you can hope for is a contribution from Audi for new ones.

Well had my 2nd opinion.
Saw it for myself up on the ramp.
2 offside definitely buckled the near side look ok visually.

Gutted.

I still maintain i haven't hit anything severely enough (in my opinion) that could cause the wheels to end up like this but i have obviously done something.
I have little hope of getting anything from Audi. Perhaps a discount, the indi i just went to said i could get them from him at near cost, so thats something at least.
They retail at £1044ea +vat - part number 4G0601025CG
I can either live with it see how they fair or replace the 2 worst ones.
But my issue is even if i replace who is to say the same wont happen again a week later so i am reluctant until absolutely necessary.

Its been a bad week.

Sorry to hear that it's confirmed. I feel for you - as I said, I've been there, it makes you feel sick, and it's doubly upsetting when you have cared for the wheels so you're not even getting a visual improvement with the replacements!

Push Audi for some contribution, at least.

Another option.

Stash current 21" wheels and tyres safely in garage somewhere. Purchase lightly used second hand 20s and fit to your car. When you come to px at Audi, fit the 21s back on the day before. Sell 20s privately. Audi gave you the problem, Audi can sort the problem!

Can't youget them repaired at a decent refurb place? That will cost a fraction of one wheel alone.

Failing that, i'd be going back the the first reply on this thread from me and buying a set of aftermarket wheels. No way would I be paying all that money for OEM wheels.
I don't understand why Audi (and other manufacturers charge so much for OEM wheels; surely the development and tooling up costs are covered by the cost of the car they first appear on. It's not like they are bespoke or low volume, in fact they (OEM wheels, not the RS6 ones in particular) are the closest thing to mass produced wheels, surely outselling any aftermarket wheel. So why are they so much more than aftermarket?

Personally, for a performance car like this I would not even consider getting the wheels repaired. They will never be as strong no matter how carefully they are heated etc.
