You don't need a monthly SIM for connect. If you are unsure just get a £10npay as you go sim to see if you like it. I have a £15 Sim that last up to 3 months with 6gb.

it takes up any slack in the seat belt as you are moving away. feels like a slight pull on the belt to ensure it is positioned snug to the chest and lap.

Amazing car, miles ahead of the C6, a massive upgrade. One thing I have noticed though is the back end 'squirms' a bit under full acceleration. I have air. Anyone else noticed this?

In a straight line? In the dry?
Mine doesn't. I have drc and dunlops. Tjere is a thread about it twitching when pulling onto the wrong side of the road for overtaking but not in a straight line.

No not in a straight line, but in the dry. When say pulling off a roundabout and accelerating very hard it feels like it's squirming a bit, never had that feeling in the c6. I presume because of air instead of DRC. Will expire a bit more over the coming days!

I've noted a few people mention 'oversteer' in their cars so interested to explore this when i get my car next month.

All i'd say is that i have watched the likes of 5th Gear doing a track review and the only time the RS6 will vaguely oversteer is when lifting off at large speeds. There was certainly no power-on oversteer and, let's face it, Audi are hardly recognised for producing playful cars.

So my hunch it is more of a feeling (body roll) than actual oversteer.

There is a thread about this, just had a quick look but couldn't find it to post a link.

I'm on air with the conti's. In a straight line and overtaking I've not experienced the back end wanting to step out. when pushing it though through some twisty bits it definitely wants to step out. I have the car set to dynamic all of the time so I cant really comment on what it is like in comfort carrying out the same driving style, and DRC will be a whole different game.

I think in the last thread myself and eddie commented on different styles of driving maybe having an input. I've come from a few years of driving a 3 door sierra cosworth which had to be treated very differently with its limited slip diff. stamp on the power even in a straight line and your through a hedge. (or a post see signature). the power had to be fed in and feathered to keep control.

I know with the RS6 with all of the traction control systems and four wheel drive there is the confidence to simply stamp on the power when overtaking or exiting a corner, the systems try there best to eliminate any wheel slip and the huge torque will be constantly pushing them and eventually something has to give.

In short I think my brain is still programmed to rear wheel drive limited slip diff mode and may be the reason I'm not experiencing the kicking out sensation when overtaking. I'm not a slow driver nor by any means more capable than anyone else on the forum, I think its just a case of being pre programmed to feed in the power.
