Thinking about taking it to valet magic in camberley to get bits wrapped and a bit of a detail. Anyone had experience of them?
I know of a couple of people who would say don't bother, just saying

Have you considered just buying the black bits rather than wrapping? Or just get your existing ones sprayed. Either option would give a better gloss finish than a wrap I think.

Also, would roof rails be gloss or Matt if came with the oem black pack?
Have heard good things about https://autocurators.com/ and they're in the same area (just down the wonderful B3349 from me). I'm booking my RS4 in to be detailed and have protective film applied (they bring somebody in for the wrap).

Think spraying will end up costing a fair bit more, plus won't be able to remove at a later date if I wish. Think going to wait till it arrives (prob end next week) and live with the silver trim for a while, make a decision in few weeks.

Will set be getting front tints done ASAP at Paragon in Reading, they are superb.

Just found this conversation and had to re register as its been so long since I've logged in forgot my details.

This was my old car that I traded in for a new performance RS6.

I can say that in the time that I had the car it never put a foot wrong. All the miles were motorway and it was looked after at Audi and got everything it ever needed.

Just had a full service and full set of discs and pads about a month before I sold it.

And the rear half of the car was only a CAT D so it's all good.

as a bit of an overview, the car was faultless throughout my ownership, i used the car everyday mostly motorway miles.

The tyres were replaced when i had the discs and pads done so should be 50/60%, there are a few marks on the rims from a day that my wife had the car instead of her RR sport (nothing too major)

I think there are a couple of stone chip on the front of the bonnet, but i have had the car detailed every6 month so the paint work should be be in good shape.

bodywork - there was a small issue with a bit of trim that came loose at the bottom of the passenger side door at the rear door, but Audi belfast knew about it and should have fixed it.

as for history, it has been serviced with Audi in belfast since I've had it, never wanted for anything, pretty middle of the road spec as i felt that the V8 and 550+ hp was enough to keep me entertained. i changed to an identical spec and colour new performance RS6 so in 2 years if you want to upgrade i'll keep you in mind.

interior wise - i have to be honest and say i have 3 kids under 5 so it was used as school run and lifting kids (kids are messy) but in general i was the only driver, 6'6" and 17 stone so the bolster on the drivers seat might be a bit worn but nothing too major.

health to drive and i hope you have as much fun and Craic with it as i had. you should ask them to keep it under a Northern ireland reg as our plates can't be dated so as far as anyone will know its a much fresher RS than you paid for it. i hope you got a good deal out of them????

This all sounds great RS6belfast. Obviously I'm aware it's done 60k but was cheap enough to warrant the slightly less from 'as new' condition. Sounds like you took great care of it anyway.

Got what I thought was a reasonably good deal, £43750 + 2 years warranty, but I'm guessing this will be a lot more than they gave you for it?!

Will update when car delivered next week. Thanks for your help!

Oh another question, how have you found the air suspension? Did you try one with DRC for comparison? And have you found the standard exhaust too quiet?

Hi Vestax, are you tinting front windows to the same tint as rears
or slightly lighter?
