Lewy - yep, I'll concede - it does look fantastic! :nogarors4: Interestingly, it looks a lot better on your car than on the Audi approved... probably to do with the lighting. I had the aluminium mirrors on a S3 I bought new from Germany - that was a great first drive back to port down the autobahn... absolutely bricked it at 150 mph when the car was still pulling

Mike - Ouch, hadn't realised the carbon mirrors were £1.5k

Yeah it's a 1.5k option when ordering the car. It'll be even more if you buy them from audi to retrofit. Little devil can get genuine ones on here for about 1500euros so much cheaper.
You can buy the genuine plastic covers that have been carbon skinned for anywhere between £250-£600 on ebay and elsewhere which are a good option as they will fit perfectly (given they are actual geuine plastic covers underneath).
I saw a new genuine set on ebay the other day for about £500. I nearly bought them just in case I ever changed my trim to carbon.

That's perfect! Thank you for the video. Much lighter than the configurator. I'll probably go for that over Sepang. Time to change the order!

THANKS!

If you swap to Ascari will you go black Optics, or Titanium pack as standard on the PE?

I'll probably stick with the titanium to be honest as I like the contrast with the blue. I've got a PE for the weekend so will take a closer look at the titanium and make my mind up.

Thx - it seems the house rules are that if you go blue you must go black. But I have had a look at a Prism Silver PE with the Ti package and I really liked it....

In low light it looks similar to Nogaro?

Stealer is making up a sample for me from the paint code, so will report back, hopefully with pictures.

For now, the Sepang Performance Edition is tickling my fancy

Looks very sprinty to me
2015 B8.5 RS4 Avant Suzuka Grey
2023 Lotus Emira First Edition 3.5 V6 Manual Seneca Blue
Audi History:
2020 SQ7 Floret Silver
2017 S5 Cab Mythos Black
2017 TTS Imola Yellow
2017 C7 RS6 Performance Nardo Grey
2015 C7 RS6 Porsche Riviera Blue
2015 SQ5 Sprint Blue - Gone, not quite special enough
2006 B7 RS4 Misano Red - panicked and sold big mistake
So much crap prior to this can't actually remember

I would agree with this however the old ones had a real shiney Alu and the new ones seem to be a low gloss Alu paint these days. Annoying.
I would prefer to pay £250 for real Ally covers than £1.5k for dodgy Carbon.

Pity.
