Whoop whoop! :jump:

Its all down to how long it takes the dealer to pick it up now. As long as he gets it by thrusday I should still be on for Friday.

I hope not or I'll miss my Friday pick up. I guess I can do a Saturday pick up but that means a pain in the backside or wait till Monday.

Sensible precaution. I bought my wife's Golf GTi off Autotrader. A few weeks after we bought it had a call from a policeman in Liverpool who had found a cloned car in a lock up with our plates on it. Car had never been anywhere near Liverpool. Luckily the police found it before it got used.

Honestly, load up autotrader or pistonheads and you will see loads of plates. Far more likely your local crim will use that than come to a forum like this

As above. Plus, if you have a tracker fitted, you can prove you didn't do the crime.
Loads of golfs about so plate cloning is easier than an RS6.
