Picked the car up from Crawley today and had a pretty miserable(weather wise!!!) journey back. However the car is stunning and very pleased with it. 200 odd mile drive back allowed me to sample some of the cars attributes. Will get some far better photos tomorrow.
Saw 3 white rs5's and a c6 rs6 saloon undertook me just before taunton junction!!

Just had email from dealership to say car will be ready for handover next Friday!!! A week earlier than expected which is great, but my slightly supersticious side is twitching regarding the date!! 13TH and a Friday.

Any way after around 10 mins to think about I`d booked train ticket!! Long trip from Devon around to Crawley but cant wait.

Amazing, had a drive down to the coast for a pub lunch on sat. Its booked in for gtechniq treatment this week so have tucked it away until then. Will get some proper photos up after that.

i still dont have a date for mine - it is still at the port.

Apparently it was pulled with another 600 cars at the port for an additional quality check (an overcheck if you will) - dealer has been great chasing this up for me and is now getting me a temporary car as i sold mine a few weeks ago based on their 'estimation' because the car was at the port, of when it would be available.

Bet i get a 2l oil burner. still it is appreciated as the dealer isnt local so have the trouble of getting the car to me.

Both those photos are good but the second photo makes me want to buy another! Really does the car justice. I'm now split between a full stealth carbon panther black and the Sepang + black/carbon.

Collected the car again today after having new car protection done by Simon Belli of Prestige detailing, had a couple of quite deep scratches which was a bit disspointing as they happened at dealer but all sorted and the paint is miles better!!! All sealed with gtechniq c1/c2, interior and glass.
