Insurance

Post by CaptainRS4 » Wed Jun 17, 2015 12:02 pm

Hi All,

Could you kindly tell me what Insurance companies you would recommend/use to insure my imminent RS6 with?

My current insurer Direct Line tripled their quote after I corrected the value of the vehicle from £70k on their intial quote to £83K - which is on the invoice :assflash:

Thanks in advance

I am with Liverpool Victoria. £510. I went with LV because they are top rated for claims and customer service (by Which magazine). I also got a quote from Admiral at £230!!!! So cheap I decided that they had no intention of paying out if there was a claim. They are also virtually bottom of Which's list for customer service.

I've just renewed with Axa @ £490 ish.

Swiftcover wanted £522.83 to renew.

Not on the same car, but similar value/car type but i'm paying £330 with Tesco car insurance for the F10 M5 & that's with Class 1 Business Use.

By far the lowest i've ever paid for annul cover.

Yeah, but it's Insurance.

As above, the Cover is as good as any other & Tesco Underwriting is now 50.1% owned by Ageas Insurance, who appear to be very highly rated with quite some Award tally:

https://www.ageas.co.uk/about-ageas/our ... egy/awards

No requirement to have a Tracker fitted (waste of time devices), all purchase dealings online & all the Cover i need at a fantastic price.
