I have been told their's a plus type car coming, no ideas what it'll be but expect close to £100k, maybe with something a bit different, like the seats and 600PS.
If I order one boff would you mind if I tinted the windows very slightly. It's only cause my missus likes to stroke my third leg in private whilst we're cruising.
Ha haaaaaa!! as long as you pay for a full valet when you are ready to move it on!!!!

How are people getting the cars before me when my build dates week 24, and I ordered in November with pretty much all extra's ?????. I know it's got extras etc and take longer but I I thought it's a production line in the queue ? Pretty much like queue jumping lol.

Thanks, but I already have a pretty great one. My life will no doubt be enhanced, though, when I get to read your first polysyllabic post.
Chuckle - said like a trade mark, and brand protection lawyer indeed......

Wildbore - take a chill fella, this certainly shouldn't be the place to get wound up - or drop in quite intelligent derogatory, ?possibly tongue in cheek? comments:

polysyllabic
adjective
(of a word) having more than one syllable.
using or characterized by words of many syllables.
"polysyllabic jargon"

As for how these things work? I disagree buddy - (but then that confirms how it works.... chuckle) No seriously, I think the Social Skills required to contribute are sometimes real tough, and Personal Confidence must be high (sometimes you just have to look at some things and laugh them off).... Boy back to powerpoint.... ooh lovely

Or extreme happiness - now I'm fully in touch with the facts, i think that tinting your windows for personal gratification is a disgrace, if you buy the Noggy one then please don't tint the windows.... others may want to see!!! :-)

Killer Mate, I've just done exactly that with my B8, I chose a car that was already specified and ordered by a dealer - how on earth you've waited so long is beyond me, for me it has been 8 weeks of absolute torture, it comes this week hopefully.

So these dealer cars are, demo, cancelled orders, speculation - you can change the config until pretty much the car goes to build, or just take the locked down spec.

The sparkle off my Daytona bonnet. Ps I hope it doesn't create any glare or annoyance to any bikers.

Thanks all for your advice/comments - the privacy glass question certainly sparked an interesting debate!!

Was still wavering this morning, until I spoke to the dealer. Order is frozen and can't be changed. Panther Black it is!! Build week moved forward to week 22. Have been told it will be a 2016 car - not sure what this means!!

Not sure how all of this works, but believe that my dealer got hold of an existing dealer order within the Audi UK network, which was still "spec amendable" (at least until today). He nabbed this for me a week ago and it was amended to my specs. Good effort from my dealer! Sorry to hear about those who have been waiting a long time for their RS6.

Cheers

J

Panther in the Sun is awesome James, I've gone mythos on the b8, and in summer It'll look great, but no massive... wow look at that. Panther is just like Porsche Basalt Black, and it is a lovely colour in the sun, especially when parked somewhere nice in the South of France and your relaxed.

Great choice, enjoy!!

Damn right, if it stops a power ranger doing 150 or so on your local A-Road, you should be ashamed of yourself. You pulled out in front of him, remember. Even if you were in Waitrose. THINK bike.

It's been a useful thread for someone like me coming back here after a long break - the Privacy glass debate, paint colours, and if I ever have to go in the ring with the Klitschko brothers at the same time, I just need to refer to this picture for 10 seconds and I'd fancy my chances.
