Such a dumb statement, unbelievable. <beep> must be your middle name.

Blower - that's quite an awful and derogatory thing to say about someone - what would Jesus think of you if he heard you calling someone a "<beep>"? There are people in this world who are born with physical and mental difficulties, and special educational needs - they can't help the way they are and they are classed as 'retards' by the ignorant, the inconsiderate and the mean. Rolskii isn't one of them - but that's irrelevant - you shouldn't call
anyone by that name.
I'm not joking here - I'm shocked by what you've said, especially coming from a self-proclaimed Christian, and I'm frankly quite disgusted by it.

Sorry sir, but how do you deal with such a ridiculous statement? In reference to <beep>, I am dealing with his backwards mentality. As for Christ, he called the people of his time evil, snakes, hypocrites, devils, adulterers, vipers, fools, was Christ making derogatory statements too?

Well you're simply taking the Bible as a verbatim statement of historical fact again (which I personally think is preposterous and foolish - but then our differing positions on this are already well known) - but in answer to your question: if Jesus did say that about people then yes - he was quite clearly making derogatory statements. That is plainly obvious when you look up the meaning of the word.

Well until somebody present proof evidence that the bible is incorrect, I see no reason to reject it as some story book and besides, I see it pointless of God to present us with a book full of fiction. If this is actually the case(as you stress)then what use is the bible, my faith in Christ would be in vain.

I checked out the definition of the word derogatory and I have to disagree, all I done was call out a statement he made that was beyond believe and incredibly ridiculous. Thats like somebody committing a theft or murder and you saying that it is derogatory to call them a thief or a killer/murderer. He made the ridiculous statement, not me. I suspect that you may agree with me that his statement does not really add up or make any sense.

Well, this is your topic and just look at your first post. Where exactly were you going with this topic?

I see it pointless of God to present us with a book full of fiction.
One error and one truth in your sentence: The error - God did
not present the bible to anyone. The truth - it
is a book full of fiction.
If this is actually the case(as you stress)then what use is the bible, my faith in Christ would be in vain.
Bingo!
I checked out the definition of the word derogatory and I have to disagree,
OED definition of the word 'derogatory':
2. depreciatory, disrespectful, disparaging
Calling someone a <beep>, or a snake, or a fool is therefore quite clearly derogatory. It is a plain fact for all to see.
However, I'm not getting drawn into this again - it's futile. Goodbye and good luck.
