If it worked, surely just taking a photo of a number plate with a flash would be a better advertisment than a very badly photoshopped snap of a car!

Weve got some of this in the garage. Its so easy to tell if someone has this on there plate, when a flciker of light hits the plate you can see it go blurry or if you flash a car with it on, the police have caught onto this and ive seen them bust someone on traffic cops for it.

Ideal one I was thinking is a "lcd" screen that sits over the top of the plate. Just switches on automatically by trigger from a satnav/gps unit when you are over the speed and in range of a camera.

This spray doesn't work, as the npr systems use neative images. By doing this they can extract the reg even if it is severely over exposed and can't be read normally.
The lcd shutter idea sounds good though

The sprays are CRAP, I work in the photographic industry, there are alot better ways of getting around pictures being taken of your plate..

lol, you need to get the plates from the scam vans and put those on your car. Not that I would advise such activity of course...

what about a few sheets of opaque print film(reprographic stuff) on top of each other ...?
Always wondered if that would obscure from a flash ..... giving that "oil on water" effect .....

Lumisty do a prism type film, we use it on windows.
When you are looking at the glass at 90degs you cant see a thing, but at 45 degs you can see straight through it.
If only the could swap the angles of vision!
Have a look at the Aussie site, no point looking at the manufacturers as its all in German!
http://www.lumisty.com.au/
If anyone in interested I can send some samples out, beware though its VVV expensive.

There must be a type of clear film that reflects bursts of light .... or just warps the focal view ...
or just get some hologram protectors made up ....
