Although I've had little time to spend on the forum in the last 2 weeks, the absence of Julian's helpful input, good humour, and well-intended jibes have been sorely missed.

His reasons for 'leaving' the forum were made clear in his "Bye all" thread.

I feel that his point has now been well made and his continued 'boycotting' of the forum will serve no further useful purpose.

So please join with me in welcoming Jules back

I'll second that Clive. I'll still see him more often than not at MRC

Personally I think he bought a lot to the forum. Not just banter and evil wit, but a good sense of knowledge and camaraderie

This is incredible sad....have you lot not got anything better to do than pine for the court jester. As an exercise in ego massaging this is amazing. He's a 40 year old bloke who wears gel in his hair and is a network engineer for god's sake !

Julian please please please, pretty please, I'm begging you please come back so this lot stop going on and I can take the p*ss out of you again.

Totally agree, point made, come back and join the rest of us. Trouble is errr, he doesn't read the forum anymore does he? So I see a flaw in this plan!

Don't worry Graham - as a "network engineer" he has his ways...
