No remap for me after all

Post by Dr-Al » Tue Oct 16, 2007 10:55 pm

Wrote off the S4 last Tues in a spectacular display of bent metal & crushed glass. Seen pictures of the wreck and feeling really lucky to be alive. Details and pics to follow when I get out of hospital. Have multiple fractures, pins & plates so this could be a few weeks. if any of you are near stepping hill hospitalover the next few weeks i'd welcome the company - Ward D3 Bed9

Al, that's terrible news. Sorry to hear about a top comrade falling in action.

Would it be rude to ask how it happened? Glad you're still in one piece (excl. bones).

Mate, dunno what to say! Saw it in the local rag last week but didnt think it would be your good self! !

Im working down in Stockort, PM sent with me details - will bring you some grapes and a paper!

PS Save us some Morphine, my nurses soon cottoned on when they asked what the pasin was on a 1-10 scale, most of the time it was 8-10 :smile_smoking:

Awful news Doc, some nasty injuries there. Hope you make a full recovery and nobdoy else was hurt too badly.

The details will make good reading I'm sure (sounds bad, but true).

Seriously though, relaying the news to the forum before being released from hospital, that's dedication

Take it easy. With all that thinking time, you should know exactly what you are getting next by the time you get out!
