Not there now. I got back on Saturday.

I done a little shopping :)

1. Loads of FDNY T-Shirts and Goodies from the FDNY Museum. I love Rescue Me and more importantley the money goes to the widows and children. I also stopped by ladder 8 and ladder 23 (who lost an entire crew) and bought some shirts.
2. My Archos 504 is a year old. It gets used on a daily basis either on the train or plane. Its time for that to go into retirement. I replaced it with this puppy. http://www.archos.com/products/video/ar ... al&lang=en
3. I have some real nice Shure headphones. I hate for people to hear what i am listening to, and by the same token I dont like to listen to anything else other than the audio I am playing. I NEVER SCRIMP ON HEADPHONES. Whilst browsing around the Apple Store on 5th Avenue I tried these noise cancelling head phones. I have had NC phones before but nothing compares to these. Switch them on and its like going deaf. http://www.bose.com/controller?event=VI ... ones_index
4. Why are jeans only £15 a pair in the US? I got 5 pairs of Levis.
5. Shopping at GAP (and this is one for us brits) is like shopping at Matalan. I also bought another bag to put this gear in
6. ToyRus, this was cool. My son wanted some specific StarWars gear. $60 dollars bought me a bag full of stuff, I mean alot of gear. What was really cool was that the Security Guard let me take a space ship down to the Earth cam outside TGI's. I was able to show the boy the toy and he confirmed that it was the right one. check it out... http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/
7. Trainers (Sneakers) got 4 pairs for the price of 2 in the UK. again, very cheap.
8. Now this thing I have not actually picked up yet, and I am still wondering if I should get it. Its a calf and foot massage machine. i have serious back issues ( I need my spine fused) which really kills my legs and feet. Its a big box, i guess i could check it in. http://www.brookstone.com/store/product ... ult*R1C1*T

I get to come to NYC once every 3 months now. And I have been told I need to go to Miami next month

Forgot. No.9 for my hunting - http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr ... B0001WAQ42

NY- fantastic city, been over 6 years since I was there last and keep trying to get my better half over there. I was lucky enough to have gone up the Twin Towers (well one of them anyway).

Did you do the helicopter tour? If not, I would recommend doing it just before sunset, sorry sundown.

Did not get time to do the Heli tour this time. I will do that next trip. I did do the boat trip though. That was very good.

You can't get up the inside of The Statue of Liberty anymore though can you? That was one helluva climb up to the crown...reminded me of "Ghost Busters".
I missed out the Ellis Island bit..and will do that next time (whenever that is!)

At least mine was a relevant bump at the time.
