im looking for some info lads..the wife has bought me a fire stick.if i pay the money for amazon prime do you get free films aswell??? What else do you get for your £79 yearly subscription..

You get everything in the TV, movies sections that are marked "Prime" - it's a fair old wack of content.
If it were me, I'd be hacking the Fire Stick and loading Kodi onto it.

Not all of the films are free there are some you will still have to pay for down load Kodi loads of YouTube guides on how to do it

Lots of good series and movies. Better selection than Netflix IMO. At least, unlike Netflix, you can see what's showing without having to cough up:

Anything with the prime banner on is included.

The FireTV interface is a bit poo (and about to get worse, I suspect), but if you keep digging you can find some interesting obscure films.

You also get the free next day delivery on everything sold by Amazon which is why I initially got Prime.

If you are interested in sideloading Kodi or similar on there then have a look at aftvnews.com for guides and info.

There are some awesome deals on the NowTV Smart box (don't get the cheaper one, it's <beep>) at the moment. I find myself watching NowTV much more than Amazon Prime these days.
