I've had Sony mobiles for years and love them, currently got the Xperia Z, i would highly recommend them.
The camera takes high quality pictures, the walkman 'throws' music around my house via the wireless network and its true to its word that it is waterproof.
I've never understood the apple thing, they have you by the balls, android all the way for me and Sony certainly over Samsung.
