Sorry to read of your experience mate. I have not had any brushes with Hodgkins but my wife had early stage breast cancer and had radiotherapy which is localised to the treatment area. Chemotherapy affects the whole body and what may cause hair loss but who cares as long as it works.

As previous posters have said, I also add that you are an inspiration. Keep positive, keep strong and keep posting.

If the CT was such a squeeze, where did you put your footlong?

The radioactive stuff they injected reverse Hulked it.

They brought the meeting for my results forward after finding that I am stage 3, not stage 1 as they were half-expecting initially. Tumour in my neck that I heavily suspected was there due to restricted movement, cluster of them in my left chest area and a largish one on my spleen. Not in my bone marrow though.

Chemo starts on the 27th. The only thing that actually bothers me about all this is having to drive to Frimly Park every 2 flaming weeks for the next 4 months, then potentially for another 2-4 months after that...... Can't go on holiday abroad (so no holidays at all then), they have to put a permanent line in to me and a whole load of other <beep> that I can/can't do/things to stay away from etc etc. ON ON!
