Nobby wrote:^ Yours is from when you once ate 79 kit kat chunkies isn't it? :bigblink:

Mine is just a nickname from when I was young. Anyone remember Nobby the Sheep on CITV's Ghost train show? Well ever since it was on my brother insisted in calling me Nobby, although some of my other family members also call eachother Nobby which is a bit weird.
We call someone at work nobby, that's cause he is a knob.

The guy who we call nobby called me chunky the first day I started work. I ad replaced a chap with the same name (dunc) who was a bit of a big lad and his nick name was chunky. The 79 is birth year and also the amount of ladies I have now tugged over.

So I thought I'd start a thread so we can share the story / reasoning behind our usernames.

Mine is quite straightforward, MikeFish is not my real name, but my surname is the Greek for fisherman so have been referred to as Mike Fish for as long as I can remember.

What's yours?
Mike, are you THE fisherman the cryptic Amanda speaks of?
Perhaps? Amanda is far too cryptic for me, best check with A1.
