I just missed the Rhodesia boat, was born 2 years after "independence". My family moved out to Africa in the 60's and lived a great life, I had a great childhood and a great springboard on to the rest of my life. A life brought up with discipline, open space, outdoor lifestyle etc etc. I will provide that for my kids, just a shame I cant do it in the country I was born which had its own unique offerings.

The situation over there makes my blood BOIL & frustrates me whenever I hear the latest, but unfortunately this seems to be the trend in African countries. I have the option to take my job, my salary (tax free WHHOOO HOOO) and work in South Africa maintaining my client base here in the UK etc etc... as tempted as I am, I am not going to. It is going the same way.

This is where Auz and NZ become quite appealing. Due to the time difference it would not be relistic to take my work over there with me, however still an option. The states is a close second to Auz/NZ... who knows where we will all end up in 3-7 years.

Joking apart I agree with what you say though; there are "dark forces" at work in this world - namely: The Illuminati, the Bilderbeg Foundation, the "Big 12" Banking Houses .... we are but mere cattle to these organisations, probably less so in fact. There's nothing you can do, you are powerless.

I'll tell you how: by averting our minds and eyes (or rather having our minds and eyes ingeniously averted for us by cleverly engineered wars, economic collapses, media spoon-feeding etc) - we didn't allow them to do this explicitly, we just believed our leaders manipulation of us to be for our own good. They really are very clever Devils, they've been at it for centuries!

Nah, not yet. Seriously hard times are coming before any christians are leaving here. I do believe in the rapture but I believe that when it does finally happen things will be so bad on this earth, that folks will believe they will be in the tribulation period. Christ's return is coming soon but there is still alot of work to do.

Bingo! That's exactly the way "they" have engineered it: the way a very select elite minority can control the masses is by fear and distraction. Organised religion used to be the method of choice for instilling fear (remember these charming epithets? "Fear the vengeance of God/wrath of God ... be God fearing ... you'll go to Hell unless you live the way we tell you ... God will strike you down" ... etc etc) - now that organised religion has lost its grip in the West "they" had to invent new "bogeymen" - the USSR and the "Red peril" of Communism was great at uniting America and distracting its peoples eyes away from what the Government were really up to - when the Iron Curtain crashed they had to scrabble around for a new bogeyman sharpish - et voila: Osama Bin Bogey and his naughty gang enter stage left. Brilliant!

TV has been the greatest tool in keeping the masses eyes averted from the truth - a steady stream of deliberately manipulated and heavily edited news, "chewing-gum for the eyes" soap operas that make you think your life is "quite alright really ... I mean, it could be worse, just look at poor so and so on Coronation Street ...", celebrity shows and gossip for the terminally stupid (Celebrity chefs, celebrity ice-skaters, celebrities in jungles, celebrity BigBrother, Hello, OK, X-Factor, Pop-Idol .... what next; Celebrity <beep> Traffic Wardens?) - TV has been a "God-send" (excuse the pun) to the "hidden elite" for replacing the Church and organised Religion ... with that one box installed in everyones homes they have a direct, extremely powerful and effective method of controlling you, and making you think and believe the things they want you to think and believe. They love it! And we just can't seem to get enough of it ...

"Make them really scared, give them a few material scraps (rabbit-hutch houses with postage-stamp gardens bought at obscene prices with Shylock-style loans) then make them <beep> their pants that the bogeyman will come and take it off them ... when you've got them quaking with fear tell them you'll look after them as long as they're good boys and girls who do as they're told and keep their noses to the grindstone - don't let them look up at the stars, make sure their eyes are firmly pointed at the floor!"

Most of us walk this world in a zombie-like state of paralysis, fear and wilful ignorance. It's got to the stage now that most of us just don't want to know the truth - far better to lead an insular, parochial life and hope that nothing comes along and ruins it ...
