Quality is great , we use em for mountain biking . One or two have to drop the quality of recording as it slows the PC down apparently

I found all the ones I tried had terrible motion breakup.
I use a bullet cam which is easier to mount than a go pro coupled to a remote mini DVR. Esp useful in open top cars as the mic is on the DVR unit and not the camera.

I like the gopro's for wifi control. Especially automatic start/stop from iphone applications (like harrys lap timer etc). :)

The only issues I know of, or have encountered, are with playback. The issue isn't the camera though, a lot of PCs can't handle the video decoding so either don't play back video, or it's very jumpy. An up-to-date computer with stand-alone graphics card should manage fine though (my year old Lenovo was bought specifically because my Dell couldn't cope).

And as for quality, they record up to 4k resolution and 60fps. Audio can be pretty crap in a car though, so get yourself an external mic and the 3.5mm adapter too.

That's just excessive. :biggrin3: But does beg the question why there is not considerably more footage of your car on here. Lol

Me too, although I have found it temprimental at times (Hero 3 silver or white, can't remember) and iphone 5. Also difficult to switch the wireless off, and doesn't always pick it up on the phone.
