Wanted: 17" Wheels to fit a B6 S4

Hi everybody,

Wanting to get a set for my trips down to Switzerland each year. Looking at 17" wheels with tyres that fit a B6 S4.

Let me know....

Will 17's fit over the front brake calipers?

You could try a set of B5 S4 wheels to retain a stock look.

Interesting question, I have a set of 17" Ronal 10 spoke Bolero wheels that came off a B5 A4. With a view to getting winter tyres I though I'd try them for size, result was wheel clamped straight on the brake caliper. Will try putting 5mm spacers on to see if this gives clearance but the stick on balance weights are so close to the caliper that I think 17"'s are probably not suitable for B6/7 S4.

I phoned a stealer to ask about winter wheels and tyres, they can sort out some 18" rims with tyres but it will set you back £1620 for a set of 4 which unsurprisingly is not sitting well with me.

OEM size is 18"... Not sure an 17" wheel will work?

Forget the dealer, have a look on a tyre website like mytyres, much much cheaper!

There is a winter wheel option from Audi, the spec is 7x17 ET38

I have some BBS CV`s in a 7.5x17 @£549 a set, can supply winter tyres as well.....

I had a set of 17s for my S4 last winter from PW , fitted perfectly.
Got the winter tyres from camskill.

tyres + wheels came to less then £1k.

They`ll be going back on at end of October / early November.
