Wanted-Drivers side interior door handle. 1999 S4.

As per title. Return spring and pivot broken on mine so handle does not return. This is the small panel that sits in the door card and also holds the small speaker(not required). Thanks.

These are quite cheap from dealer £18.80 inc vat just got one for mine comes complete with plastic speaker grille etc
Part number 8D2 837 020A 1EJ thats for an onyx colour one (black)

Sorry for the hijack but can you see/tell me if the actual handle can be detached from the speaker surround/plastic itself?

Make sure you get the correct one, the S4 is silver, RS4 black I think?

It was not obvious, I think you would have to drill out the back of the plastic to expose the grub screw or whatever it is that hold the handle to the pivot pin. You can see it but not access. Spring and pivot pin groove were dead on mine.
