Mario is a genuine guy, with a genuine reason for sale.

Having had previous RS4's does it really matter......he likes them just like the rest of us on here!

As has been said the thread is now ruined, and all because of some discussion which to be honest has no relevance to the subject!

Good luck with the sale mate!

I would love to see your reaction Clive if people were talking about your moments in life and about album selling or not? How would they know , they dont even know me? Thanks for you interest anyway

The person who will be serious enough to call and find out information will get the previous owners number to call and speak about car too as hes spent 1000s and I've only had it a month. Speak to Kim collins at QS tuning to ask what kind of condition and how loved my cars are.Ive had 8 quattros in 6 years. Also Virdee is well respected on this forum and he's met me so hopefully he could tell you more. Cars Taxed, Mot, Freshly serviced e.t.c.

Exactly, Mario.

Mate, we all know these forums are alive with traders and the more cars you turn over the more you look like one. Worse, an undeclared trader and believe me none of us want to get stiffed by a dodgy dealer.

Had you read between the lines of what was - in terms of the world a lot of us move in - some very mild banter, and seen that it was just blokes challenging how genuine you are, you could have come back with a short explanation like "change of plan" and the problem would have gone away.

Do what you said and relist the car. Best of luck with selling it and congratulations on the baby.

mariocee wrote:Mike , If your the guy who had the 90k+ MTM then sorry, but I bought this one a month ago , the same day I sold the B7. Wasn't thinking right and just bought without really thinking it thru. MY wife always preferred the Saloon B7 cause they are much much easier to drive. Should have know it Was a mistake to Buy B5 again but had cash on the day and went and bought for a good price. Thats why now Im selling at a good price, 15.5k , as other standard ones with same mileage are going for 17k+. This car is tight as my 38k one I had. Iwill be buying another one in about yr=ears time. Will get a High mileage one and just use it as a 2nd car or trackdays. CONTIGO if you dont mind, back off a bit, its a bit weird you following my life so much.Scary,

Not following you at all, I'll dig up the old thread and I'll let you make your own mind up about it. If I am wrong then I apologise to you.

1st CONTIGO what banged up MTM avant? had 38k on it was totally mint!!! Sold it for 25K bought A B7 Saloon at £42K? Why?? BECAUSE I CAN!!!
The thread I remember was on here when I first joined, unfortunately the link to the car in the thread is gone but it's the one with the cream/silver seats and MTM badge, there was alot of talk on the thread about it at the time and that's what I remember about it. I do hope that you appreciate that this board is all to aware of cars that have "History" and also people do tend to point out things if they know something about a car's "History" for the sake of other punters!

This is the reason that, on another Forum I use, the mods made the classified section 'read only' so that genuine sellers would not have their threads populated by a slanging match.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing though? Potentially bad for the seller but great for the buyer/s

Hi Mario
As I was the first postee on this and have just logged on for the first time since, I apologise that it got a bit out of hand.

I sold my B5 S4 six months ago and am missing it, so have been looking at the B5 RS4 recently.

I just wanted to know where you were and your price. I looked at your previous posts to see if I could gleam any info about the car and saw that you picked it up a month ago and was just wondering if it was the same car - there was no agenda or malice intended, sorry there was a hullabaloo about it. Look foward to seeing your re-listed advert with some piccies on it.

Congrats on the baby girl, best thing that'll ever happen to you.

I'm not commenting on this car, I am referring to the one that was sold a year or so ago. I can't believe how agro some people get about this.

OK TO EVERYONE ON THIS CHAT. Apologies accepted, accept mine too.
Car has Sold today to SAQ. Thanks to all for making this sale interesting.
Contigo I have no problem with anyone but U as I displike the way you say BANG UP MTM. Speak to Kim collins on that car. I bought it for £27,500 with 34000 on it and sold it with 42000 for £25k. the guy who bought it actually had it up at one stage on pistonheads for £27K with 45000 on it a few months back and then reduced it to 24k.
Didnt have a scartch on it. Beautiful car. Stiff Steering rack e.t.c
So I don't know where your getting your info from but it sounds spike full. Anyway Car sold This Morning . Enjoy It Saq, its an amazing car and I will sure miss it. Will be looking for a 100k mile example for under £10k next year for custom track use only. IM now selling 5x19"Bimoto's MTM and boxed New Bilstein Pss9
Thanks Guys. Speak soon
