Sorry to hijack this thread but GardinerG, how did you know your turbos were on their way out?

Turbos can last much longer than that, but is just something to be aware of on S/RS cars, with gearboxes being even more expensive. But I'm not that familiar with the S4 only the A6 2.7T (mine was 308Bhp).

Doesn't mean anything. My local Audi dealer couldn't trace mine on their system so they convinced themselves that it was an import, until they found the service book in the glove-box that clearly stated it was supplied new by Taunton Audi.

Not sure I'm massively comfortable with posting pics of the car up with the reg plate in view without the owners consent, but that's just my opinion.

A car will only show up on the Audi computer via the registration number if it still has the original registration number.

Mine has had several private plates prior to my ownership and does not show up on its current plate. All ok if I give the vin though.

I saw that B6 on Autotrader this morning as well! Looks like a bargain, misprint or scam!
